Insulation Safety Inspections - Licensed Electricians

The Commonwealth Government has announced homes that have had foil insulation installed under the Government Home Insulation Program will undergo electrical safety inspections to be carried out by Licensed Electricians. The Commonwealth Government will cover the cost of these inspections and any work required as a result of faulty insulation/installation.

Abbott declared that a Coalition Government would change unfair dismissal laws in favour of the business sector by introducing a "free and flexible economy". In an interview with the Australian Financial Review Abbott revealed that his government would reintroduce individual contracts which formed the backbone of the old WorkChoices policy.
