Payment

Membership applications submitted via this website must be pre-paid in accordance with the relevant Union Rules before the benefits of membership will be available to you.
All amounts to be paid are transacted in Australian dollars ($AUD).
In the case payment is made via this website by credit card, the ETU nor the CEPU store your credit card number on our servers, however it may be retained by our payment merchant in circumstances where this is required.

In the case of offline payment please contact your nearest union office.  Payment must be completed before the benefits of membership will be available to you.

In cases where your payment fails for reasons including but not limited to insufficient card credit funds, or cheque dishonour, your membership status will be considered to not be financial until an alternate payment method occurs or the original payment method made to function.

The NSW Divisional Branch Executive shall have power to veto the application of any person who may be regarded as ineligible for membership; provided any rejected candidate may, within fourteen days of being notified by the NSW Divisional Branch Secretary, appeal to the NSW Divisional State Council against the finding of the NSW Divisional Branch Executive.

Any entrance fee or subscription paid by a rejected applicant for membership shall be refunded by the Union.
